About Me
Angela’s passion for hair and nails began at a young age. She knew early on in high school that she wanted to have a career in the industry because she painted her own nails and toes almost weekly and was even trying nail art. Coloring her mom’s hair and cutting friends hair was a normal thing to do. She would even highlight friends’ hair pulling it through a cap!
So began her cosmetology career in 1994 after graduating from Je Boutique College of Beauty. With a job already lined up where she receptioned during school, she cut hair at Kids Hair Salon in La Mesa for about 6 years. Then the dreaded numbness in the hand/arm came in forcing her to stop doing what she loved and she went in a whole different direction, processing mortgage loans. What seemed like an amazing job in the corporate world, it didn’t last and in 2010 went back to the industry she loved but this time as a nail technician, working for amazing businesses such as the Hotel Del Coronado and Spa Barona. She is still doing nails but the passion for the beauty industry led her to extend her training and become certified in lash extensions in 2015 and lash lifting in 2018. Today these services are her main focus and everyday seems like a fun girls day, hanging out with “friends” chatting and catching up on each other’s lives, not like work at all.
